I have been reading up and doing research and I think I would like to get a literary agent. I think I need to focus on the craft and less on the business ... which is actually VERY hard for me. I like to be involved in all the business LOL Well I found an agency that I think would be perfect for both me and the type of writing I do, but now I have to put together a submission. This process worries me a little. I want to convey the idea of the book, but have worries than I cannot do that in a small enough space to catch her attention. I mostly love to write, because I am so ridiculously long winded! I could go on and on forever! I guess I have my heart set on this one agent and I should be spreading my ideas around to see who is as passionate about it as I am!
I want to share with all of you ... the juicy details of the book, but I think I have to save something for when you (Hopefully) buy it and read it :) The process of writing it has been relaxing, cathartic and very enjoyable. I wish I could carve off the rest of my responsibilities and just write. If I could ... I would be prolific LOL! I could crank the books out ... not sure they would all be interesting :0) Usually a day or weekend with the girls inspires some new book idea and I get distracted from the one I am working on. The key goal for me this week, month, 3 months ... is to finish "Found" and get it published. ... Now I am off to write that submission ... well as soon as I get some breakfast LOL

Inspiration is flowing
I am really feeling it today ... I know where the characters are going and how they will get there and I am SO excited to start their journey. I also found while editing last night that the characters each have a distinctive voice that I am really starting to hear. I know that Samantha & Piero do for sure. Andy needs to find her voice, but I know that will come. She has been so absent from this section of the book ... that I found I was missing her. Must be time for her to rejoin the party. I was so involved in the love story of my two characters that I forgot other people existed LOL! So we will need to find some other people to join too ... we can't have Andy being the 3rd wheel to a love couple ... no fun there. So some new souls are dancing around in my head and will soon find a place on the paper :) Hope this journey has been interesting for anyone who reads this :) I am enjoying the process and this outlet helps me to develop new ideas and talk out the ones I already have.
Of course I will have to stop writing about the book in my blog soon ... my big twist is coming and I want EVERYONE who reads it ... to be surprised. So I don't want to give it away :( Which is a bummer casue I would like to get feedback on the reveal. Lets hope that is the job of the eventual publisher and editor:) Have a great day & thanks for reading this <3

Can't think of Romantic things that are NOT sappy LOL
I have been trying to search my soul (LOL) to find a way to connect my two main characters together in a deep love without over romanticizing the book. I want you to be in a whorl-wind romance, yet hold on to the intensely guarded nature of the main character. Plus I want the unique love they share to be absorbed. UGH!
So here I am at MIDNIGHT ... trying to think of romantic things they can do together in Italy .. that are not food - wine - or hot air balloon related!
I don't want to glaze over the time they spend building their love for each other. Any ideas? I am very open to ideas lol! Plus as I sit & write ... which I love ... I think of other books I want to write .. So I have to pin myself to this ONE project and finish it ... I already have 3 half done books around here!
I am dying to do a comedy, life satire book right now. Some of the things I hear everyday, just SHOULD be shared! I should just get one book published .. I might be wasting my time on the others ... the publisher may tell me I am crap & I wasted all that energy running the computer in the middle of the night :)

Getting There
Well ... the book is finally HALF DONE! I want to move it along faster. It is all already in my mind, I just need to find the quiet time to get it on the page. I also need to push my husband to EDIT EDIT EDIT! He is the BEST editor & I desperately need to pull him from his desk and get him to read the next section. The book turned into a romance quickly ... I knew it would, but I was hopeful I could keep a bit of a raw edge, but I needed to bond the characters, which really needed romance and fantasy. I am getting to the part of the book, where the BIG twist happens. I hope I have not led readers to deeply in, before that happens. The idea for the sequel is already in the works and might be the most exciting part of the writing process for me :) I am planning to share another chapter here next week :) So I hope you will read, enjoy and give me feedback! Thanks as always ;)
